L'Équipe Cycliste Israël Premier Tech Se Rénove et Devient NSN Cycling Team sous Pavillon Suisse
The Israel Premier Tech (IPT) professional cycling team has announced a major change: from the 2026 season, it will adopt the name NSN Cycling Team and officially come under Swiss ownership.
This transformation comes after a particularly difficult 2025, marked by political tensions. The team was the target of pro-Palestinian demonstrations , notably during the Tour of Spain, due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza, making its presence "untenable" for some partners.
The new chapter is made possible by a joint venture agreement between:
This alliance ensures the continuation of the WorldTour and Development teams. The project thus acquires a Swiss nationality , although its organization remains based in Spain, between Barcelona and Girona in Catalonia.
This repositioning follows the withdrawal of the Canadian group Premier Tech , which deemed it impossible to maintain its sponsorship in this climate of high tension. As early as October 2025, the team's owner, Sylvan Adams , had already decided to step back in order to distance the team from its Israeli identity.
The new general manager, Kjell Carlström , welcomed this renewal: "We are proud to welcome NSN and Stoneweg to the team and to announce our new name and identity."
The NSN Cycling Team's training camp is scheduled to begin next week. The team's new colors and sporting program will be revealed to the public in the coming weeks.
