Fin de la 1ère session ordinaire 2026 du CESEC : Cap sur le développement durable et la paix sociale
At the close of the first ordinary session of 2026 of the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council (CESEC) this Thursday, June 25, its president, Eugène Aka Aouélé, expressed the ambition to see the work of the institution act as an accelerator of progress and national cohesion.
"I hope that the resolutions and recommendations adopted will provide an additional lever for the harmonious development of our country and the strengthening of social peace," he stated, recalling the importance of dialogue and the general interest in meeting the expectations of Ivorians.
The outcome of this session is reflected in particular by the adoption of two opinions put forward by the standing committees:
The session was punctuated by a series of initiatives aimed at enriching the institution's thinking and grounding it in the realities of the country:
On the international stage, CESEC participated in a mission to the United States alongside the Ministry of Higher Education, as part of the Côte d'Ivoire–Silicon Valley Task Force . The objective: to draw inspiration from the best innovation models to transform Ivorian universities into hubs of youth entrepreneurship.
As a sign of the strong cohesion between public authorities, the closing ceremony brought together several state figures, including the president of the National Assembly, Patrick Achi.
