Al-Nassr champion : Cristiano Ronaldo et Sadio Mané décrochent la Saudi Pro League !
It's official! After seven years of waiting and frustration, Al-Nassr is back on top of Saudi Arabia . The Yellow and Blue secured their ultimate title on the 34th and final matchday of the Saudi Pro League with a resounding 4-1 victory over Damac FC. This historic triumph also allows Cristiano Ronaldo to lift his first-ever league trophy in the kingdom.
Although they had missed an initial match point by conceding a draw (1-1) in the last minute against their great rival Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr's men did not falter this time.
Thanks to this final victory, the club finishes the 2026 season two points ahead in the standings of Al-Hilal, whose late victory against Al-Fayha (1-0) was not enough to reverse the fortunes.
While the spotlight is on CR7, Sadio Mané has been an absolutely crucial leader this season. Scoring again against Damac, the Senegalese striker caps off a stellar campaign with impressive statistics:
A season saved at the last minute. Marked by immense expectations and the disappointment of a continental final lost in Champions League Two against the Japanese team Gamba Osaka (1-0), Al-Nassr's season is magnificently saved by this 10th national title .
Meanwhile, defending champions Al-Hilal—now coached by Simone Inzaghi and strengthened last winter by the arrival of Karim Benzema —must relinquish their title. They will console themselves this year with the Saudi Cup, won earlier in the season.
For Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mané and their teammates, it's now time to celebrate before turning their attention to another global challenge: the 2026 World Cup.
